Commercial Vehicle Crash Data

One of the most important roles of the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division is to be proactively engaged in reducing the number and severity of commercial vehicle involved crashes.  A significant portion of our enforcement efforts are directed towards these public safety concerns. 

In fiscal year 2018, there were 1,304 crashes involving a commercial vehicle.  The table and chart provided below shows crash severity by time of day for the period of October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018.

The below chart indicates the number of injury crashes in the Third District involving commercial vehicles for FY2015 through FY2018.
